Built by Drivers.
For Drivers.
Roll-off bins and heritage workwear out of Hamilton, Mono ON, and the GTA. Sixteen years in the industrial waste lane, built one truck at a time.
From the Yard to the Web.
SPIKE BINS started in a Hamilton industrial yard. The phones rang, the trucks rolled, the bins came back full of construction debris — and somebody had to figure out where the clean wood went, where the drywall went, and how to keep the GCs paying on time.
Mike Atkinson ran the digital side from day one. Steve ran the trucks — fifty Walking Floor units out of Mono, plus thirty Brampton owner-ops on call. Together they built a roll-off operation that doesn’t miss pickups and doesn’t pretend mixed waste is clean.
Sixteen years in, the operation is two things: a disposal company that knows the difference between a $5-a-tonne load and a $60-a-tonne load, and a workwear catalog that started because every driver kept asking where the company hoodie came from.

Hoodies, tees, caps, jobsite gear. Stencil wordmark plus a 1.5″ × 1.5″ embroidered crest. Carhartt-clone placement. Public retail or 100% off through the Crew Portal.
Shop the catalog ›One ″ and a Half. Embroidered. Left Chest.
Every apparel SKU carries two marks: the bold SPIKE BINS stencil wordmark across the back or chest, and a 1.5″ × 1.5″ embroidered crest patch sewn on the left chest.
The patch placement is the Carhartt-clone standard. The crest is what makes the gear recognizable across a parking lot. We don’t change it.

Show Up.
If we said tomorrow at 8, the truck is there at 8. If something breaks, we call before the appointment, not after.
Price Honest.
Clean wood costs less to dispose than mixed waste. We don’t pretend otherwise. You get the rate that matches the load.
Build for Wear.
If a hoodie can’t take a winter on a Mono yard, we don’t sell it. Materials and construction match the application.
Answer the Phone.
Real number, real human. If Mike doesn’t pick up, the SPIKE voice agent grabs the details and Mike calls back same day.
Mike Atkinson
Founder. Approves every crew application by hand. Handles cross-border swing loads, large quotes, escalations.
