Every Number on the Catalog is Load-Bearing
A GC in Vaughan called last fall to argue about a CIRCIL line on his invoice. He had quoted the job against a competing bin spec that said "30-yard, around 5 tonnes." Ours said 30-yard, 3.99 tonnes net. The difference was a levy column he hadn't budgeted for, and a job that came in over his line item by four figures. The Disposal Bin Catalog V2 publishes every number that decides that conversation. Field Notes No. 4.
Net tonnes is not bin capacity
A 30-yard roll-off holds 30 cubic yards of volume. What it carries to the gate at the standard wood-waste density is 3.99 tonnes net. The catalog publishes both. If you're estimating against volume, you're missing the line the receiver weighs. The CIRCIL Levy bills against weight, not yards — every catalog row makes that conversion explicit so your estimator doesn't have to redo it on a napkin.
Footprint and swing-radius
Every catalog entry has a placement diagram: bin footprint, swing-radius for the lid, and the truck approach lane required for drop and pickup. If your jobsite has a fenced setback or a curb cut that won't take a tandem, those numbers tell you which bin fits before you book it. Site supers who read the catalog before the call save us a return trip and themselves a missed half-day.
Three contract-rate columns
V2 publishes contract rate, spot rate, and the dispatch fee inline with every bin. The spread between contract and spot is the discount you carry as a standing account. The dispatch fee is per-load, fixed, and listed because trucks cost what trucks cost. Net 30 terms apply at the contract column. If your accounting team wants the math reconciled against the Quote Calculator output, the numbers line up — same source.
What we do about it
The full Disposal Bin Catalog V2 is on the product navigation. Print it, post it on your shared drive, hand it to your estimator. If a number doesn't line up against a quote you're working, the 833 line gets dispatch directly.
